First of all, Thank You Veterans for your service!

SuccessVets is a service dedicated to offering free assistance for returning Iraq and Afghanistan war vets who are facing challenges finding work, want to improve their odds of finding a decent job, or are considering starting their own business. By no means do I not help other era Vets, but recent Gulf War II Vets, especially younger ones, are experiencing the highest unemployment rate among any Americans right now. Not good!

In my experience as a Human Resources Director, I've seen MANY good and not so good employment applications, cover letters, resumes, and interviews. I've also seen great (as well as not so great) follow-up from potential hires, which many times either won them or cost them a job. Success in finding work comes down to having a good system for the entire process and the right tools to implement that system.

I'm available to assist you at no cost with your job search plan, reviewing and helping with your resumes/cover letters, and answering questions you might have about winning a job. I can give you feedback from an employer's perspective before you apply for your next job. And if it's convenient for us both, we can also practice interview questions over the phone or possibly in person as well (I'm in the Palm Springs, California area). It's all about planning, preparation, and following through.

In addition, I've started a few small businesses over the years so if you're leaning in that direction we could talk about that as well. I'm a big believer in always having side businesses or sources of income in place no matter what your "regular" employment situation is.
